Aphrodisiacs are named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty. Certain foods act as aphrodisiac and get that sexy and appealing side of yours to awaken! These foods are relaxing, good for blood circulation and strengthen muscles that have an impact on the sense and stimulates the psyche. Obviously, it’s all related to the brain, the largest sexual organ in the body!

Here are the foods that will arouse your ‘sexual’ appetite:

1) Celery

If you are planning a big dinner party, it is preferable to make dishes which you have tried and turned out good a couple of times before the big event. However, if you really want to try out a new recipe to impress your guests, test it a few weeks in advance.

2. Choose a good group of people

Always choose friends with whom you get along really well, share similar interests or at least have things in common to talk about. If you are planning to invite some extra people, make sure that they get along with your guests and no one feels uncomfortable. You can as well handcraft some personalized invitations or even a phone call is just fine.

3. Ask about allergies beforehand

While you are calling your friends to invite them over, it is always advisable to ask them if they suffer from any allergies. Because it is never fun to learn that the person has an allergic reaction to any ingredient which you have used in your delicious meal. • Chinese

If you’re traveling to China, you should mind your chopsticks as well as your manners. After finishing a meal, you should never leave your chopsticks in the bowl. The left-over rice is often offered to the ancestors’ ghosts at a family shrine. That’s why when eating in a restaurant, you should not leave your chopstick in the bowl sticking up to the left-over rice as it might be a terrible loss for the proprietor.

• Japanese

Remember that saying “Sharing is caring”, well in Japan, forget it! If you plan to share your meal, you must place a tasting morsel on a small plate and pass it to the recipient. Passing food from chopstick to chopstick refers to the Japanese custom of sifting through a family member’s cremated ashes to handle their loved ones’ bones.

• Russian

This Russian Taboo involves traditional dating! If you are hoping to court a lady at a restaurant, you’re expected to pay for everything. Russian women don’t bring their wallet on a date.

• Indian

Food taboo in India vary according to religion and for those who practice Hinduism, eating cow or beef meat is prohibited. For Muslim and Islamic families, they do not eat pork as these animals are bred in revolting conditions and are not worthy of consumption.

• Italian

When offered Italian food, whether you are in Italy or with an Italian family, it’s better to refuse at first! If you’re offered a second time, then accept it freely!
